Chess coaching camp at Regent International College, Gampaha

A very successful chess coaching camp was conducted by Mrs. Suneetha Wijesuriya, President of the Anatoly Karpov Chess Club of the Russian Centre and Lanka Chess Foundation recently at Regent International College, Gampaha. This was organized by the Chess Club of Regent International College Chess Club and there were about one hundred participants. There were two sessions as for Beginners and Advanced. Mr. N.L.M. Arunashantha, Principal of the Regent International College, Mrs. S. Wickramaarachchi, Vice Principal, Lt. Col. J.K.J.D. Jayasinghe, Head of Sports and Mrs. Nimalee Peiris, Teacher in Charge of Chess were also present at the event.
